Production Coordinator

Fusion Audio + Video is a full-service home technology and custom integrator serving the Upstate of South Carolina, Bluffton, Charleston and Western North Carolina areas. Our team prioritizes providing clients with state-of-the art solutions and service.

Department: Operations  

Reports To: Production Manager  

Location: Greenville, SC  

Compensation Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually  

Employment Type: Full-Time, (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) 

Position Summary:

The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in the execution of project communication, scheduling, staging, and closeout tasks. This position directly supports the Production Manager and ensures the successful implementation of the ongoing production plan. The goal of this position is to maximize project efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction from the moment a Sales Order is approved through the Service handoff.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Role Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to streamline production processes.
  • Drive project efficiency through meticulous coordination and proactive communication.

Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the installation process.
  • Initiate project engagement by confirming Sales Order receipt and introducing the operations team.
  • Coordinate and confirm installation schedules with clients, builders and partners.
  • Provide consistent updates on project progress and coordinate follow-up appointments.
  • Distribute and collect project finish checklist information.
  • Conduct project closeout communication, confirm punch list completion, deliver Service Department handoff info, administer satisfaction surveys, and request referrals or ratings.

Project Coordination & Documentation

  • Set up and manage project-related OneDrive folders and Teams channels.
  • Maintain a live 30-60 day advance production calendar.
  • Populate work orders with accurate notes, relevant tasks, and scheduling details.
  • Assist in planning meetings, take detailed notes, and document meeting outcomes.

Product & Logistics Coordination

  • Submit and monitor product requests to ensure timely parts receipt.
  • Flag any issues related to backorders, discontinued items, or stock outs, and assist in internal coordination to resolve them.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure advance staging of project materials.
  • Schedule Field Assistant support as needed.

Project Completion & Handoff

  • Monitor and respond to all project communications to support execution of current project action plans.
  • Complete all tasks on the project handoff checklist and ensure seamless transfer to the Service team.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in complex scheduling coordination, project management support, or related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
  • Customer-service and solution oriented.
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in office and project management tools (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, iPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on follow-through and task completion.
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn and improve processes.
  • Experience in AV, construction, or related technical industries a plus.
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
