Control4’s New Halo Remotes

If you are a fan of the Control4 Neeo remote, then just wait until you meet Control4 Halo. As the next-generation intelligent remote, Halo offers users more options and convenience. With functions to browse media, control smart devices, and select scenes for AV, lighting, comfort, and security, Halo takes Neeo’s features to the next level with advanced modern technology and options.

Stronger Wi-Fi

Halo has three to five times more Wi-Fi strength than Neeo and supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. So if you were running into issues with the power of Neeo’s Wi-Fi connectivity, Halo should resolve these issues.

Voice Control

Who doesn’t love voice controls? Halo’s new voice button functions like a Siri remote for Apple TV or Xfinity voice remote for Xfinity boxes. We can’t wait to try out this new feature, which Control4 added based on customer feedback.

Touch Screen Version

The Halo line will give users two choices: a touchscreen or a standard remote. The standard remote has a 2.8-inch color interface controlled by hard buttons, while the new Halo Touch features a 3.2-inch touchscreen interface. 

Other Upgrades

Neeo users will notice a few other upgrades integrated into Halo. First, all of the buttons on Halo include helpful backlighting to make using the remote in the dark easier. Second, the battery life in Halo has been addressed and should allow users more extended periods of use in between charges.

We all know how impactful lighting can be to our moods, energy levels, and sleep. The new Control4 Vibrant Linear Lighting makes adjusting lighting colors and brightness easier for ambient light strips installed under countertops, along ceilings, and even outdoors. 

From the Control4 app, you’re free to choose from a selection of white, tunable white, color, and color + tunable white options and program lighting to match your mood, activity, or time of day. In addition, vibrant linear lighting will also work with pre-programmed scenes.
